132 kV from Dalen to Puntsneset – Lyse Lnett

Comrod has been awarded delivery of masts and foundations for Lyse Lnett’s new 132 kV power line between the power plant in Dalen, Strand municipality, to the transformer station at Puntsneset in Hjelmeland municipality.

The power line is approximately 28 kilometers long and for Comrod’s part consists of the delivery of 198 masts in different lengths and dimensions. In addition to this, approximately 40% of the masts are to be installed with Comrod’s rock drilling method. The client is Lyse Lnett and the main contractor is Linjepartner AS. This is a very important delivery to the region’s largest grid system operator and it is a significant contract. In addition, this is in Comrod’s own “backyard”.
